How to Participate in CNS Auction - Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Search for the Desired CNS Name
In the provided search field, enter the CNS name you wish to bid on and press the search button to proceed.
Step 2: Auction Page
If the search matches a CNS name listed for auction, you will be redirected to the auction page. On this page, you can view the remaining time of the auction, the CNS name, and the current highest bid. If you are ready to participate, proceed to the next step.
Step 3: Place Your Bid
Enter the price you want to bid in the provided input field on the auction page. Click the bid button to submit your bid.
Step 4: Sign with Your Wallet to Approve the Transaction
Another pop-up window will appear, requiring you to sign with your wallet to approve the transaction. Follow the instructions provided in the pop-up window to sign into your wallet. Once done, click on the sign button to continue the process.
Step 5: Processing Page - Monitoring Auction Status
You will be redirected to the processing page, which will display the remaining time of the bidding and the name of the CNS. Use this page to monitor the auction status. Please note that you may need to refresh the page periodically for real-time updates.
Step 6: View Auction Status in My Profile
To view the status of your bids and track your auction participation, click on the profile button located in the top right navbar of the website to go to the "My Profile" page. In the "Auction" tab of your profile, you will find a list of auction summaries, which includes the CNS name, the bid price you submitted, the total number of bids submitted by all users, the status of the bid, remaining time, and available actions.
Step 7: Auction Summary and Actions
In the auction summary, the status will be one of the following three:
"Won": You are the highest bidder of that auction. Under the "Action" field, there will be a "Get" button that allows you to mint the CNS. If you forget to press the "Get" button, the system will automatically mint the CNS and send it to your wallet.
"Processing": The auction is ongoing, and you are temporarily the highest bidder. Under the "Action" field, there will be a "View" button that allows you to check the CNS processing page.
"Overtaking": Another user has overtaken your position as the highest bidder. Under the "Action" field, there will be a "Bid" button that allows you to submit a new bid. Click the "Bid" button, and a small window will appear where you can enter your new bid. After entering the bid amount, click the "Submit" button to place the new bid. The window will disappear.
Follow these steps, and you'll be on your way to participating successfully in CNS auctions. Happy bidding!
Note:
The minimum incremental price is 10 ADA for each new bid submission.
If you won the auction, you can redeem the CNS immediately. In case you forgot to redeem, the CNS will automatically be sent to your wallet 48 hours after the auction has ended.
We do not advise users to submit bids at the last minute. Transactions may fail due to various issues, such as transaction submission time or network congestion.
